Dear Robert,
Thank you for this profound article. This morning I awakened much too early, unable to sleep more (unusual for me.) I wondered if God wanted to say something to me (also unusual for me, and wonderful.) I decided to get up and read for my ACIM group, and found, waiting in my Inbox, this Inspiration.
I especially find Possibility in the idea that the catalyst for love outpouring can be one who joins with many in true love indiscriminately.
There are many reservations in my mind. I once tried (for several years) to turn a psychiatric ward into a loving community. It was a good ward, but it did not begin to make the shift that I saw as truly healing of all our dividing distinctions. I was reading the Course but my mind was not healed enough to approach beginning to be a Buddha field.
Unlike then, I now have a fully present vehicle for living healed in my own healing process: our teacher (John Perry), Course inspired companions who want to share this truth and 'new' seekers of healing. Your teaching and support is part of this oasis of healing that I suddenly realize I am already living in. You, through others whom you have touched, have welcomed us in, and continue to support our 'own' possibility of providing true expanding oasis.
As for the rest, so that it can provide Rest, and not an attraction for those whom I imagine will not receive the elixer, but demand tiresome care (can you tell what I may attract, thinking I am a nurse), I accept your direction pointing, which, for me, sounds like holding the Vision for my brothers and I, always listening for what God is trying to say to me, and being willingly drawn to my God inspired part. If this is where Guidance is trying to lead me (and it must be), may my willing hearing blossom.
