I've been studying Course lessons sine January. I've read Circle News and Robert's Newsletters. Although it was difficult reading for me, I agreed with most everything being taught. The commentary always gave me room to grow the best I can with the message given.
In this weeks issue of Circle News Robert talks about the Gospel of Thomas. He gave reference to specific sayings in their literal sense without interpreting what Jesus intent was. I've always found Thomas as complimenting the Course, and am dismayed by his negative review. So often the articles don't follow the plan set out by the Course. It's confusing and I don't understand why Robert's perception has a claim of truth. It's hard to find the lessons meaningful without questioning the exceptions.
