The Course promises that "if you do it, you will see that it works" (T-9.V.9:2). This page is devoted to sharing the experiences of students who have experienced just that.

If you have had an experience of doing the Course and finding that it worked for you, in the form of an inner experience, an interpersonal healing, or even a physical healing, please write us at robert@circleofa.org with "Student Experience" in the header. We are especially interested in stories of applying the Circle's model of doing the Course "by the book" and experiencing results.
There is often a remarkable story to tell around how we first found A Course in Miracles. These stories were a regular feature of the Circle's newsletter for a couple of years. It's been a long time since then and we could use some new ones. If you have a story worth telling about how you found the Course (or, as one writer put it, "How the Course found me"), please let us know.

- How I Found the Course by Pari Hakimi. One night a year ago I had a dream. I was standing in front of Jesus. He was sitting on the ground in a nice place, and he was meditating. I asked him, "My Lord, which path should I take?"
- How I Found the Course by Mary Eagle. Mary hears a TV preacher tell her to drop to her knees and ask God to show her the way, and she does just that.
- How I Found the Course by Robert Ferre. Robert finds the Course at Findhorn, where someone says to him, "Buy this book, it will change your life." Robert says, "I did. It did."
- How I found the Course by Ron Johnson. Ron opens the Course in a bookstore in, of all places, Sedona, Arizona, and has a life-altering experience. "Power flowed through me, Power so strong, it opposed nothing."
- How I Found the Course by Bernard Lacroix. This was originally written to be published as Part II of what is now Return to the Heart of God. It goes through the entire program of the Course in detail, including study, practice, extension, and the teachers of this Course (human teacher, Jesus, Holy Spirit).
- How I Found the Course by Robert Steeves. Shortly before finding the Course, Robert, who at the time is teaching the Infinite Way, hears an inner voice saying, "You will be shown another path to illumination."
